Area of distribution - Australia-wide. Size - an adult is about 35 mm in body length. Habitat - this spider is a ground dweller, with a burrow retreat. The trap-Door Spider may construct a wafer-like lid on the burrow entrance. Home-Owners usually find these spiders in garden areas around the home.
